What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN - Medical Surgical position at Providence RN?
**Job Summary:**
RN - Medical Surgical Unit at Providence Medford Medical Center. This posting represents 36 hour per week positions. Day and night shift opportunities are available (12 hour shifts that begin at 7am or 7pm) with rotating weekend.
This is a Medical-Surgical unit, which means you will care for a wide variety of patients with different medical conditions and who have undergone surgical procedures. Our nurses work as part of a team to deliver safe, quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to ensure the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients are met.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and provide optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and communicate effectively with other healthcare team members.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 1 year Nursing experience.
