Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Job Details Position : CDU (Clinical Decision "Observation" Unit) RN Start Date : ASAP (Tuesdays) Shift : 3 or 4x12HR options available Length : Willing to offer 13 or 26 week contracts Years of Experience Required : 2 years Ratios : 1 : 5 (D) 1 : 6 (NOC) Weekend Coverage : Every other Unit Average Daily Census : 40 Patient Ratio Required : 1 : 5 Patient info : Observation, general medical, post-op PCI, post-op general and gynecological surgery, short-stay inpatient and / or extended outpatient stay, GI bleed, SBO, ESRD, CHF, COPD, chronic bi-pap / C-pap, stable CIWA. Limited isolation patients, no chemo, no peritoneal dialysis, no acute bi-pap, no hemodynamically unstable pre-op, no post-op requiring stepdown level of care.
