Job Description :
- Candidates will work in an Acute Care Hospital with a total of 277 staffed beds.
- Staff are required to wear specific scrub colors : Imaging Techs wear black.
- The facility uses Epic for charting.
- Candidates must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
- Candidates may be required to float between the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment.
- Orientation is required, consisting of 40 hours.
- Completion of pre-start modules, averaging 16 hours, is required. Over 20 hours requires prior approval, and time spent is self-reported.
- Candidates must provide a minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last three years.
- First-timers and those with pending licenses are not accepted.
- The position occasionally requires weekend availability but does not require being on-call.
- Block scheduling is subject to manager discretion, and local candidates are accepted at a lower rate.
