Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant II to join our team at Physician Management Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical support services to patients under the supervision of licensed practitioners. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist licensed practitioners with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and charts
* Perform routine medical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing examination rooms, and disposing of biohazardous waste
* Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during difficult times
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
* Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program or equivalent experience/training
* Washington State Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
* National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
* 6 months' experience in a healthcare setting and 6 months' experience as a medical assistant
