Pharmacy Program Specialist - Diversion Prevention Analyst at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR.

Full-Time/Day Shift

Pharmacy Medication Diversion Prevention Analyst assists the pharmacy management team by maintaining comprehensive medication accountability, surveillance and reporting programs for all applicable state and federal agencies. Under the direction of the regional controlled substance diversion prevention manager and/or the pharmacy leadership (where applicable), the Pharmacy Medication Diversion Prevention Analyst provides oversight and direction for the daily operations of the Controlled Substance Diversion Prevention Program. Accountable for all aspects of drug diversion education, prevention, monitoring, auditing, investigation, and reporting.

Required Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Upon hire: Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician Or
  • Upon hire: Oregon Pharmacy Technician License
  • 3 year recent hospital pharmacy experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • ASHP Controlled Substance Diversion Prevention for Pharmacy Technician (preferred; required for PTCB Controlled Substance Diversion Prevention certification)

Pay Range: $ 26.79 - $ 40.99

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
