This is a part time (16 hours/week) position.

The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, support, and supervision of all Hospice volunteers. This position meets the practical and emotional needs of those providing compassionate hospice care, while also managing schedules, detail and documentation. Working collaboratively within the Volunteer Services team, the Volunteer Coordinator also helps to support the administration, education, and recognition of volunteers.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
  • 2 years of Volunteer coordination or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of Supervisory experience.
  • 1 year of Volunteer hospice experience.
  • Experience as a Volunteer Coordinator for a hospice program.

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.

Pay Range: $ 29.50 - $ 45.15

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
