Description SCHEDULE : Variable, every other weekend, 9AM to 1930PM The Mental Health Specialist (MHS) works with other team caregivers of inpatient unit staff to provide patient care in a variety of job duties, and under the direct supervision of the Social Work Supervisor, RN, or the Mental Health Professional, or the inpatient Unit Manager or Director. Diploma or GED or equivalent educ / experience National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. 1 year in an acute or residential inpatient psychiatric facility in a similar role. Applicable internship or practicum experience may be applied towards required years of experience. Preferred Qualifications : Adult inpatient psych unit : experience in an adult psychiatric environment. Why Join Providence?
