- Salary range : $150,000 per year. We would expect those hired into this job would be paid within this hourly rate, however, certain circumstances may allow us to pay outside of this hourly rate.
What you will do in this role :
Ensure the nursing department staff performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduce the likelihood of medical / health care errors
Ensure appropriate documentation, including documentation of medical necessity, by staff in medical records; monitor completion and revisions to the Interdisciplinary Care Plan
Manage staffing plans, nursing hours per patient day, and quality of work of nursing staff
May have patient care assignment in addition to daily responsibilities
Coordinate and direct appropriate rehab care needs related to patient / family educational needs, barriers or continuum of care requirements
Serve as a clinical rehab resources for patients / families during their rehab stay
Assist with day to day coordination / follow -up of patient care and problem resolution
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Current unrestricted state licensure as Registered Nurse
Minimum of two years of previous nursing leadership preferred
Minimum of two years previous rehab nursing experience preferred
