Infection Preventionist

The Infection Prevention Specialist is considered an Infection Prevention Practitioner. An IP Specialist is expected to work autonomously and should not require mentorship in their role.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree - Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology or related health science field or equivalent educ/experience.
• Certified in Infection Control - Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology within 2 years of hire.
• 1 year - Healthcare Experience.
• 1 year - Epidemiology Experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree - Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology or related health science field or equivalent educ/experience.
• 4 years - Healthcare Experience.
• 2 years - Epidemiology Experience.

Providence Swedish is the largest not-for-profit health care system in the greater Puget Sound area.
