Senior Surgical Support Role
We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technician to fill a senior role at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, WA.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical settings and be able to provide guidance and support to junior staff members.
Primary Responsibilities
- Leadership and mentorship of junior Surgical Technologists.
- Assistance to surgeons and other medical staff during complex surgical procedures.
- Development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Training and education of new staff members.
Essential Requirements
- Accredited program graduate or comparable training.
- Current registration as a Surgical Technologist in Washington state.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist, preferably in a leadership role.
