What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advanced Specialty Staff RN position at Providence?
Job Description:
Provides professional patient care for all patients following established standards and practices.
Serves as a role model for Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants and LVNs by providing leadership which fosters positive attitudes and change, as well as supports management policies and procedures.
Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the care of patients undergoing procedures.
Assists in the organization and daily function of the procedure room in accordance with established federal, state and accreditation standards and facility policies and procedures.
Assists in overseeing patient care activities and maintains a high standard of safety for the patient and other staff members.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Implement and evaluate care plans to ensure quality and effective patient outcomes
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless delivery of care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Graduate of a recognized Registered Nursing program
- California Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- Within 90 days of hire: ONS Chemo/Immunotherapy Certification
- 2 years RN experience
