Caregiver Health Nurse (RN) Role
This role will work in Seward, AK but will be expected to train in Anchorage for one to two weeks.
The Caregiver Health Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing clinical caregiver health services in promoting optimal health and well-being in Providence Saint Joseph Health caregivers. The Associate CHRN ensures compliance with state and federal requirements and PSJH policies.
The role participates as an integral team member with colleagues such as Infection Prevention, Absence and Disability Management, Workers' Compensation and Well-being to deliver high quality occupational and environmental health services.
The Associate CHRN performs all duties in a manner that promotes Providence Saint Joseph Health mission, values, and philosophy. In all aspects, serves as a role model for the values and mission of the organization and promotion of integration of services with a culture of health and safety.
The Associate CHRN provides pre-employment health screens, vaccinations, performs training and education, manages surveillance and in doing so supports caregivers within the scope of Caregiver Health Services to ensure they are as prepared as possible to perform their work duties safely.
About the Role:
- Upon hire: Alaska Registered Nurse License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year Experience as an RN in an acute hospital setting or similar nursing experience.
