About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Charge Registered Nurse to join our team at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. As a Charge RN, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our nursing units, providing exceptional patient care, and leading a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assessing, and evaluating patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and that the unit operates efficiently and effectively.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged in the care process.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and education programs to promote excellence in nursing practice and patient care.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current California Registered Nurse License.
- Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
- Within 90 days of hire, National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course.
- 1 year Nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.
