What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinic RN position at Providence?
The Journey Clinic RN plays a vital role in providing comprehensive nursing care for patients in an ambulatory care environment. This nurse assesses, identifies, plans, implements, and evaluates all aspects of care and teaching needs via direct and telephonic/telehealth or electronic encounters.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate care coordination by using the nursing process to assess, identify, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide high-quality care.
- Maintain compliance with professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support clinicians in delivering quality health care to patients.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing school.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification within 30 days of hire.
- 18 months of professional nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Provider Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
- Provider Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
