The CNA 2/HUC is a key person within the decentralized nursing unit, who provides overall administrative and technical support in the operation of the unit; collaborates with other staff and leaders in the development, oversight, and operation of the unit; and performs CNA II patient care duties. Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

CNA 2 0.9 FTE Day Shift with total of $4,000 sign on bonus and relocation assistance package for eligible external candidates.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training Health Unit Coordinator or secretarial coursework along with a medical terminology course or experience. Or Health Unit Coordinator: 1 year experience performing secretarial duties in a health care environment.
• Coursework/Training Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course. Or Grandfathered to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements.
• Upon hire: Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Experience with a variety of software applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year Acute care hospital experience, ideally performing CNA and/or Health Unit Coordinator duties.
• 1 year Experience as a CNA 2.
