Manager Nursing - Intensive Care Unit *full-time, day

Description

Provides an optimal practice environment that ensures the delivery of quality patient care. Responsible for planning, directing and managing the nursing care delivered to a designated patient population. Oversees the 24-hour operation of the patient care unit with accountability for leadership, overall fiscal management, staffing, planning, organizing and controlling.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent education/experience or 20 years of clinical nursing experience AND Bachelor's Degree, Or Master's Degree.
• California Registered Nurse License upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• 6 years of Related Nursing experience.
• 3 years of Nursing leadership experience.
• Computer experience.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree
• Specialty certificate based on unit upon hire
