What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant / Medical Records position at Providence?
This position performs a variety of duties that could include : reviewing patient history, greeting and screening patients, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, completing correspondence, preparing and assisting in procedures, completing various statistics and quality improvement. The Medical Assistant is expected to operate within the defined scope of practice of a Medical Assistant as credentialed by the State of Washington.

Required Qualifications :
- Completion of medical assistant training program.
- Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
- Draw lab work as needed within department
- Monitor Vital Signs.
- Statistical analysis.
Preferred Qualifications :
National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
