Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Therapist to provide quality individual, group, family and marital therapy with children, adolescents and adults at Providence Valdez Behavioral Health.
As a Therapist, you will work under general supervision to provide outpatient treatment services to assist adults, children and families. You will be part of a community-based behavioral health service that values its caregivers and strives to empower them in their roles.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, group, family and marital therapy with children, adolescents and adults.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the needs of patients.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Education or related Behavioral Health Field.
- 1 year of experience in counseling.
- Substance Abuse Professional Certification (e.g., CDC I or II, National Master Addiction Counselor) within 1 year of hire.
