Job Summary:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. As a registered nurse, you will be accountable for the delivery and supervision of safe, quality care that is individualized for your assigned patients and follows the nursing process in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.
Responsibilities:
- Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Treatment and Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address patient needs and promote optimal outcomes.
- Implementation: Administer medications, perform medical procedures, and provide education to patients and families as needed.
- Evaluation: Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of care and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Alaska Registered Nurse License.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
- At least one year of nursing experience.
