Job Summary:
This is a full-time opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. We are a community of caregivers dedicated to delivering compassionate care that is accessible to all, especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
Job Description:
The registered nurse is accountable for the delivery and supervision of safe, quality care that is individualized for their assigned patients and follows the nursing process in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act (assessment, planning implementation, evaluation). She/He is responsible for the assessment, treatment and care of patients in populations and ages as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Deliver high-quality patient care through effective communication, education, and empathy
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current on best practices
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Alaska Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year Nursing experience
