Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. Our labor and delivery unit is comprised of 28 private labor delivery recovery rooms, 3 operating suites, 2 recovery bays, and 7 OB triage bays.
All 28 labor delivery recovery rooms are private with showers and/or bathtubs, birthing balls, squatting bars, and most everything else to make the delivery experience for families as comfortable as possible.
We utilize TeamBirth hospital practices, including huddles to communicate with families and the birthing team to help everyone understand the plan of care and make informed decisions.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire
- 1 year Nursing experience
Our staff is provided educational opportunities throughout the year that include emergency simulation drills. Staffing is based on patient acuity, utilizing Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nursing (AWHONN) staffing standards.
We provide evidence-based, patient-centered care for high-risk perinatal patients in our state-of-the-art facility.
