Are you an experienced Healthcare Risk Manager looking to make a significant impact? We are seeking a dynamic Senior Risk Manager to join our team at Swedish Health Services. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Risk Management to plan, direct, and coordinate our comprehensive risk management programs across the entire Swedish Health Services system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Oversight: Ensure risks are identified, analyzed, and controlled by overseeing selected programs
• Incident & Claims Management: Investigate incidents, implement loss control and mitigation strategies, and support litigation for assigned clinical service lines
• Resource & Support: Serve as a valuable resource to physicians and staff, helping to clarify and resolve risk management issues
• Education & Training: Utilize your strong public speaking skills to assist with both scheduled and ad hoc Risk Management education presentations

Required Qualifications:

• One of the following:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Insurance or Risk Management --or--
• Healthcare related Clinical Degree --or--
• 6 years healthcare risk management experience with, at least, 2 years experience in the role of Risk Manager in a healthcare environment
• Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information
• 4 years experience in healthcare Risk Management
• Working in a medico-legal environment with understanding of claims management principles
• Working experience coaching and coordinating disclosures and resolutions of unexpected outcomes

Preferred Qualifications:

• Nursing RN Degree
