The Surgical Team Member plays a critical role in the success of our healthcare team, working closely with surgeons and nurses to provide seamless care to patients undergoing surgery. Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include setting up and maintaining a sterile field, assisting the surgeon with instrumentation and supplies, and monitoring equipment function. You will also be responsible for maintaining familiarity with hospital policies and procedures, as well as adhering to strict safety protocols.
Education and Experience
A graduate degree from an accredited Surgical Tech Program is required. Prior experience in the Operating Room is highly desirable, with a focus on GI endoscopy procedures. Certification as a National Certified Surgical Technologist (NCST) is also required within a specified timeframe after hire.
