Ultrasound Technologist Job Description
This department has full-time and on-call openings for Ultrasound Technologists with flexibility to match your scheduling needs. Eligible external hires may receive an $8,000 hiring bonus.
We are seeking highly skilled professionals to perform ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing sophisticated equipment and taking into account individual patient's special or age-related needs.
Requirements:
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirements.
- Board eligible for certification at American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- Oregon Sonographer upon hire or Oregon Sonographer Temporary upon hire.
- National Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association upon hire.
- within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certification from ARDMS.
- upon hire: New graduates must be board eligible and obtain certification (ARDMS) within 6 months of hire.
- upon hire: New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years - Clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
- 2 years - OBGYN sonography experience
- Multi-registered as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) and/or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS).
