Position Overview
The BSA-AML-Fraud Application Support Analyst III will assist in supporting the BSA-AML-Fraud Data Governance Manager for the overall management of BSA-AML-Fraud related technology. Such functions will include but not limited to: analyze and research high-risk transactions and ad hoc reports, develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations to support BSA and Fraud detection analysis, review of daily data validation, assist in technology projects that may impact the BSA/Fraud team, assisting in periodic system data validation, assisting in periodic optimization of the BSA/AML Fraud related technology, reporting on metrics of work products in the department, and manage agent analysis, testing and implementation, support process efficiencies and evolvement. Participate in ad-hoc projects on an as needed basis. The BSA-AML-Fraud Application Support Analyst II will serve as a subject matter expert in Verafin to assist in the development and expansion / integration of existing system capabilities in support of operational excellence and business efficiency. This position will also assist in BSA-AML-Fraud IT related projects, including upgrades, feeds, scenarios, etc.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for BSA/AML/Fraud detection system functionality including, but not limited to, change management functions, testing of weekly releases in Verafin, agent analysis, testing and implementation and actively participating in minor and major projects related to technical data feeds and impact involving Verafin. Clear communication of these impacts to the related BSA, EDD, Fraud teams; act as a liaison with internal data teams and Verafin and third-party vendors, as needed.
- Responsible for daily data validation of BSA/AML Fraud related system, which includes but not limited to transactions, customer demographic information, system configurations.
- Responsible for model risk management metric reporting (i.e. Agent Glossary, Under Threshold Testing, weekly production reports).
- Assist in tuning and validation efforts, supporting data requests for risk assessments, BOD reporting, etc.
- Participate in Model Risk Management’s model validation efforts to ensure models are performing as intended.
- Develop reports from BSA/AML Fraud related systems – including analyze and research high-risk transactions and ad hoc reports, maintain and develop dashboards
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
- Bachelor's degree required (or its equivalent) in statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering, data sciences, predictive modeling, or other quantitative disciplines or at least 5 years of relevant experience in Banking/BSA/Fraud Compliance.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience and or training (BSA / AML, Fraud, systems tuning, etc.)
- Maintains well-informed of regulatory requirements, legal requirements, and industry best practices to add to subject matter knowledge and ensure that modern, relevant, solutions are implemented.
- Strong problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to develop and implement monitoring processes.
- Ability to define and communicate key risk metrics, dashboards and analytics for management and reporting; translate technical observations to a non-technical audience.
- Excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills.
- Experience designing, implementing and documenting statistical tests.
- Ability to select and retrieve data including unstructured data retrieval, archival, and ETL.
- Able to identify new areas where modeling and analytics could help improve the Compliance program
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to take initiative to identify and lead on project wor k
- ACAMS or similar certification
