At Provident Bank, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Risk Management Professional to join our team. As a key member of our risk management department, you will be responsible for assisting in the identification, evaluation, and management of significant business risks that may impact the Bank's overall strategy, business operations, or safety and soundness.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of professional experience in risk management, financial services, business consulting, financial planning and analysis, or other related fields. A BA/BS in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred, but additional work experience may be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the conduct of the Enterprise Risk Management Program, providing staff support in guiding the organization through the complete lifecycle of the ERM process - risk identification, analysis, measurement, monitoring, and reporting.
- Identify potential risks that may impact the Bank's overall strategy, business operations, or safety and soundness.
- Maintain a working knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations affecting the risk management of financial institutions and all other jurisdictions affecting the operations of the Company.
- Develop and maintain a trusted, collaborative relationship with operational management to promote an appropriate level of engagement in risk activities with a high level of credibility for the ERM program.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in risk management, financial services, business consulting, financial planning and analysis, or other related fields.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work in fast-paced environment, be results-oriented, and meet deadlines.
Estimated Salary Range:
$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
