Position: Clinical Nurse

Work Shift: Day

Salary Range: Not specified

Responsibilities Include

  • Implementing physician orders and administering medications
  • Starting IVs and performing treatments
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
  • Assessing patient needs and responses to care
  • Providing primary and emergency care
  • Collaborating with the nursing team on care plans
  • Guiding ancillary personnel and maintaining nursing standards

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of a nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate)
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse license
  • Certification in BLS and ACLS
  • 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of quality improvement principles
