Essential Duties & Responsibilities Accountabilities
- Demonstrates clinical competency across a variety of clients and behavioral health diagnoses.
- Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas, both verbally and in writing, with clients, colleagues, grantor, funders, auditors and other collaborative agencies.
- Participates and engages in required supervision, staff meetings, and agency-wide meetings.
- Works collaboratively with other departments, providing the best possible service not only to our clients but also our internal customers and colleagues. Participates, as requested, in agency-wide projects, planning, etc.
- Ability to attract and retain quality clinical staff by cultivating a healthy, stable work culture.
- Maintains strict adherence to all agency procedures, regulatory standards, and professional ethics.
- Maintains personal professional license and remains in good standing in the state of Missouri.
- Routinely administers, scores, and interprets outcome measures to track clinical progress.
- Ensures team and site are achieving key performance indicators, including but not limited to clinician impact targets, performance to budget, employee recruitment and retention, strong employee engagement, high client engagement and satisfaction, and strong clinical outcome progress of clients served.
- Demonstrate knowledge and ability to utilize Evidence Based Treatment Modalities such as CBT, TF-CBT, Play Therapy, MI, DBT, EMDR and PCIT.
Supervisor Responsibilities
Supervision Principle Duties:
Responsibilities relate to multiple areas of agency activity and for providing leadership to the site team. This position supervises all therapists at the South County and Jefferson County locations.
Administrative Duties:
- Must be familiar with and aligned with the agency’s strategic plan and actively work toward achieving those goals.
- Create a positive work environment.
- Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement efforts of counseling services.
- Ensure awareness of and adherence to Joint Commission requirements, contractual obligations, and HIPAA polices in regards to counseling and documentation.
- Assist in maintaining timely communication with community partners.
- Collaborate with other programs located on site, such as psychiatric services, to ensure site as a whole is functioning to agency standards.
- Work closely with office administrators to support client satisfaction.
Provide regular Supervision to clinical staff at the site:
- Provide training and professional development opportunities to all supervisees.
- Monitor quality and volume of supervisees’ work, including review of monthly dashboards that outline impact hours, documentation, and other measures of performance.
- Assure the delivery of quality treatment by planning, directing, monitoring, and evaluating the work of assigned supervisees.
- Supervise and coordinate services provided by practicum students when needed.
Actively participate in supervisor team to:
- Build teamwork and collaboration across sites.
- Implement steps to improve quality, efficiency and cost effectiveness across Provident sites.
- Comply with regulatory and agency standards governing various types of services.
Work Conditions and Environment
- Work out of our South County location, with some opportunities for remote work.
- Work schedule is a 40-hour work week with some evenings required to accommodate site operating hours.
- Ability to travel to other Provident sites, when needed.
- Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection to work remotely.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Have the ability to sit for long periods of time.
Other Skills Required
- Clinical competency across a variety of clients who vary in age and in behavioral health concerns
- Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas, both verbally and in writing, with clients, colleagues, grantors, funders, auditors and other collaborative agencies.
- Knowledge and understanding of clinical social work and mental health counseling principles, ethics, methods, procedures and standards.
- Training and education in child and adolescent development.
- Fully competent in conducting psychosocial interviews to complete mental health assessments, including diagnostic and treatment planning skills.
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques, such as risk assessment and safety planning.
- Trained and knowledgeable in play therapy techniques, family therapy, and treating behavioral issues.
- Ability to evaluate the progress of therapeutic plans and make individual modifications.
- Knowledge of community support services and resources.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Skilled in preparing and maintaining client documentation in an accurate and timely manner, in compliance with established audit and productivity standards.
- Skilled in using general office equipment, personal computers, and medical records software.
- Participate as a team member, collaborating with and providing excellent customer service to clients, funding sources, peers, other Provident employees, and other internal and external customers.
- Serve as a representative of Provident, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration and discretion in all interactions with Provident team members, clients, grantors, funders, auditors, and members of the general public.
- Ability to foster a positive and inclusive work culture with staff and colleagues and inclusive treatment environment for clients.
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
