Cancer Treatment Specialist Position

Provider Healthcare is seeking a skilled Medical Oncology Physician to join our team in delivering top-notch cancer care to patients of all ages in a hospital and community health center setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Administer cutting-edge cancer therapies, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal therapy, while closely monitoring patient responses and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Offer empathetic and supportive care to patients and their families, addressing concerns, explaining treatment options, and discussing prognosis in a clear and concise manner.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans, discuss complex cases, and ensure seamless care coordination.
• Promote patient advocacy, upholding their rights, ensuring access to quality care, and addressing ethical considerations related to cancer treatment and end-of-life care.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• ID state medical license
• Accredited residency program completion
• Current DEA certificate
• Board certification or eligibility
• Current CPR certification

This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule. We seek a candidate with experience working with patients of all ages and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
