Provider Healthcare invites applications from experienced Medical Oncology Physicians to lead our team in providing exceptional cancer care to patients of all ages in a hospital and community health center setting.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, ordering diagnostic tests, and developing tailored treatment plans based on patient needs and cancer stage.
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and other advanced cancer treatments as necessary, closely monitoring patient responses and adjusting treatment regimens.
- Offer compassionate care, support, and guidance to patients and their families, addressing concerns, explaining treatment options, and discussing prognosis in a clear and empathetic manner.
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans, discuss complex cases, and ensure coordinated care.
- Advocate for patients' rights, ensuring access to quality care, and addressing ethical considerations related to cancer treatment and end-of-life care.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree
- Active ID state medical license
- Completion of an accredited residency program
- Current DEA certificate
- Board certification or eligibility
- Current CPR certification
