Senior Oncology Physician Position
Provider Healthcare is seeking a senior-level Medical Oncology Physician to lead our team in delivering high-quality cancer care to patients of all ages in a hospital and community health center setting.
Key Accountabilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, ordering diagnostic tests, and developing personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Administer cutting-edge cancer therapies, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal therapy, while closely monitoring patient responses and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Provide empathetic and supportive care to patients and their families, addressing concerns, explaining treatment options, and discussing prognosis in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans, discuss complex cases, and ensure seamless care coordination.
- Promote patient advocacy, upholding their rights, ensuring access to quality care, and addressing ethical considerations related to cancer treatment and end-of-life care.
Essential Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- ID state medical license
- Accredited residency program completion
- Current DEA certificate
- Board certification or eligibility
- Current CPR certification
