Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated psychiatric provider to join our team at Provider-Healthcare.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with our mission and values.
The role follows the Patient-Centered Medical Home model and involves:
Evaluations & Treatment: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnose mental disorders, and develop personalized treatment plans, including medication management.
Medication Management: Prescribe appropriate psychotropic medications and determine follow-up visit frequency to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Patient Care & Support: Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and collaborate with therapists, counselors, and external healthcare providers to provide seamless care coordination.
Evidence-Based Practices: Provide psychiatric treatment using research-based methods and ensure completion of standardized assessment tools, such as the PHQ-9, at each visit.
Communication & Coordination: Engage with patients, families, and healthcare professionals while maintaining accurate and timely documentation within our electronic health record system.
Professional Development: Participate in regular peer supervision and ongoing training to stay updated on mental healthcare advancements and best practices.
Requirements
EMR System: Experienced with NextGen EMR
Clinical Volume: 0-8 patients per day
Age Range: All ages
