We are facility find a Director of Nursing Services (DON) in the Akron, Ohio area for an excellent and busy skilled nursing / rehabilitation facility.

  • Oversee nursing staff and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Manage nursing operations, including staffing, budgeting, and quality assurance.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring adherence to HIPAA and medical terminology.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes in various settings, including assisted living and hospice care.
  • Provide training and support to nursing staff on EHR systems and nursing administration practices.

Qualifications

  • Proven management and supervisory experience in nursing administration
  • Strong knowledge of EHR systems and HIPAA regulations
  • Expertise in nursing practices and medical terminology
  • Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, and hospice care
  • Familiarity with Medicare and resident's rights
  • Background in acute care and home health services
  • Comprehensive understanding of physiology and nurse management

    • Job Type : Full-time

    Pay : $110,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
