Looking for a Medical Tech that would be able to work in our San Antonio / Castle Hills location. This position requires the technician to maintain positive relationships with patients, families, physicians, co-workers and management. Maintaining a positive attitude and relationship in the workplace creates an enthusiastic working environment and allows the company to put patients’ needs first. This job is also a marketing position. The perfect candidate will market the facility three days per week and perform med tech duties. Fluency in Spanish is a must!
Hands-on clinical duties may include triage, to include taking and monitoring patients’ vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, pulse oximetry and temperature. Computer skills are also a must! Marketing experience is a plus!
Clinical procedures to include :
- Insert and remove IV’s
- Collect blood, urine, saliva and stool samples for laboratory analysis
- Perform laboratory diagnostic testing
- Perform 12-lead EKG’s
- Clean and prep wounds for suture / bandaging.
- Provide instruments to doctors and nurses as they perform procedures
