SUMMARY OF POSITION :
The Patient Coordinator provides administrative and clinical support by coordinating patient services for the Imaging Center.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Schedule appointments for new and existing patients
- Register patients upon arrival
- Coordinate referrals
- Greets, screens, and directs patients
- Answers internal and external phone calls in reception area
- Sort, scan, and electronically file patient reports, consultations, and histories into PACS
- Assist with monitoring and ordering office supplies as needed
- Sort and distribute departmental mail
- Other duties as assigned
