Responsibilities:
- Control System Design and Development:
- Design and develop PLC programs, HMI interfaces, and SCADA systems.
- Create and modify electrical schematics and control panel layouts.
- Select and configure appropriate hardware and software components.
- System Integration and Implementation:
- Integrate control systems with existing equipment and processes.
- Perform system testing and commissioning to ensure proper functionality.
- Provide technical support during installation and startup.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
- Diagnose and resolve control system issues and malfunctions.
- Perform preventative maintenance and system upgrades.
- Develop and maintain control system documentation.
- Process Optimization:
- Analyze system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement control strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to improve processes.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure control systems comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Implement safety protocols and procedures for control system operation.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron).
- Experience with HMI and SCADA development.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and control panel design.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus).
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical).
- Proven experience in designing and implementing automated control systems.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining control systems in an industrial environment.
