We are looking for a talented Operations Supervisor to join our team at Provisur Technologies Inc. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems and implementing solutions in a fast-paced production environment.
As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our paper plant, including staffing, supervising, evaluating, and developing employees as needed.
You will set daily/weekly goals for the plant and ensure they are met, while also coordinating plant activities in the absence of the Paper Operations Manager.
- Oversee the scheduling of converting equipment and manage the purchasing and receipt of waxed roll stock, cases, adhesives, pallets, and packaging supplies.
- Ensure compliance with Paper Plant Quality procedures and programs.
- Manage customer-related functions, including order acceptance, quotations, expediting, and correspondence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a field such as business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in a supervisory role within a production/manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in math for reporting and metrics.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
