ART TEACHER - HIGH SCHOOL

Provo Canyon School, a year-round residential small setting private high school, is seeking a SECONDARY CERTIFIED ART TEACHER. The school is seeking those with experience or a desire to work with emotionally distressed or at risk youth in a small classroom setting. Our dedicated team strives to change the lives of adolescent boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 18 by providing compassionate, skills-based care that is personalized to meet each student’s specific needs. Year-round, full-time, salaried-exempt position: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm

Salary Range: $54,000 - $74,000 per year based on education & experience

Your Qualifications and Skills will include:

• Valid Secondary teaching certificate with an Art endorsement REQUIRED
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university REQUIRED
• Mild to Moderate Special Education endorsement preferred, BUT NOT REQUIRED
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass criminal history background check and drug screen
