Position Summary
The Neurofeedback Technician will be responsible for administering neurofeedback sessions, supporting patients during their treatments, and assisting in the evaluation and monitoring of brainwave activity. This role involves working closely with clients, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a calm and supportive therapeutic environment.
Responsibilities
- Administer neurofeedback sessions in accordance with established protocols and training
- Set up and calibrate neurofeedback equipment before each session
- Monitor clients during sessions to ensure comfort and accurate data collection
- Educate clients on the process and benefits of neurofeedback
- Maintain clear, confidential client records and session notes
- Report progress or concerns to supervising practitioners
- Perform light administrative and cleaning duties related to the neurofeedback room
- Stay current on new developments in neurofeedback and related therapies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field is a plus
- Prior experience in neurofeedback, biofeedback, or a related health field preferred (training provided for the right candidate)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High attention to detail and the ability to follow protocols precisely
- Calm, empathetic, and professional demeanor
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn and troubleshoot specialized software and hardware
