SNOW EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
PCI is looking to add some snow fighters to our 2024-2025 snow and ice management team. Equipment operator applicants must have ample experience with snow removal equipment operation. PCI is looking for a highly motivated, conscientious, and detail oriented individuals with a positive attitude. Provost Companies is a full service landscape management and construction company that has been servicing the South Shore of Massachusetts for over 15 years. We specialize in professional landscape management, snow & ice management, property management and construction services.
Essential Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Report to site dressed in warm, waterproof clothing including hats, gloves, jacket, pants and boots ready to work in the elements.
- Perform basic pre-operation checks including oil, coolant, grease points, fuel levels, etc.
- Ensure all of your assigned areas are safely and efficiently cleared in coordination with other operators and laborers.
- Work directly with the site foreman and area managers to ensure all areas and emergency features are cleared and safe consistent with contract specifications and company standards.
- Maintain a neat, professional and organized interior environment (i.e. no trash, debris, or personal items left in cab, etc).
Preferred Qualifications:
- If applying for heavy equipment operation (i.e skids, loaders) a valid MA hoisting license is required.
- Prior experience clearing snow in equipment.
Compensation Package:
- 4 hour minimum.
- $25.00-$40.00 per hour based upon productivity and responsibilities.
