Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production activities to ensure timely completion of products.
- Develop and implement efficient production schedules to meet customer demands.
- Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve high productivity and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the Production Planner to ensure compliance with production schedules and changes.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to prevent injuries and improve quality.
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
- Monitor and report performance metrics and improvement activities.
- Encourage employee engagement and participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read, speak, and write in English and Spanish (desired).
- Math skills sufficient for creating reports, charts, and calculations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
