What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pricing Manager position at Proximo Spirits?
SUMMARY: Support Strategic Finance/Commercial Strategy/Brand Marketing leadership in providing insights, tools and capabilities to guide daily prioritization and strategic decision making in pricing, discounting and revenue management. A successful candidate will be an enabler to the broader organization in achieving overall performance ambitions while delivering fact-based insights to support strategic pricing discussions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct Pricing maintenance, reporting and reconciliation tasks including addressing all the upload and update process of new/changes in prices into SAP system and log modification dates.
- Collaborate with DFM and Compliance teams to ensure pricing changes are executed within aligned timelines with regard to filing states.
- Analyze, measure, present and track financial impacts of pricing proposals in Brand P&L’s, example brand price repositioning activities
- Cultivate productive, team-based cross functional relationships with key pricing partners and customers including segment marketing, product management, finance, marketing, customer service, and consumer insights.
- Conduct variance analysis on performance vs. plan for various business segments; presenting results, key observations, implications and recommendations to Finance leadership.
- Enforce price governance guidelines, ensuring compliance to established reviews and appropriate approval cadence.
- Create relevant analytical tools/reports/dashboards incorporating pricing data by connecting customers, competitors, markets, brands and item parameters to manage existing business and new product launches.
- Review Commercial Discount behavior and perform variance analysis on actuals vs. plan for all brands. EOM Accruals on DA’s market/brand/label/size.
- Validate pricing in SAP and corporate pricing tool.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (including complex modeling, pivot tables, macros, and charts), PowerPoint and Word
- SAP Experience
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Energetic and entrepreneurial approach and a strong attention to detail
- Flexibility to perform and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar
- MBA preferred
- Spirits Industry Experience a plus
- 3 years’ experience in FMCG industry
The salary range for this role is a base salary of $96,400 - $128,000 along with an annual bonus, 401K match, and medical and wellness benefits. The range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience and skill set against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.
