About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced pharmacist to fill the role of Director of Pharmacy. This position involves leading our pharmacy team and developing strategies to improve patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the pharmacy team to ensure delivery of high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of pharmaceutical services
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of pharmacy services
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain quality control programs
- Provide ongoing education and training to pharmacy staff
Requirements:
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent experience
- Current registration in the state of Massachusetts as a Registered Pharmacist
- BPS specialty certification preferred
- Minimum of five years of clinical experience in a hospital setting, including experience with computerized pharmacy systems
- Strong leadership and communication skills
