Job Description
As a Pharmacy Operations Lead, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our specialty pharmacy at Holyoke Medical Center. This includes supervising pharmacy staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing strategies to improve efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and train pharmacy staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Develop and implement process improvements to streamline workflow and enhance patient experience
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including inventory management and billing documents
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant specialty pharmacy experience
- 1 year of supervisory pharmacy management experience preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and make sound decisions
