We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team during our busy voting season. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating and maintaining data in our system and databases. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent typing skills, and the ability to handle large volumes of data efficiently. This is a temporary but full-time position lasting until mid-May.
Responsibilities
- Enter and update data from paper formats into company databases, spreadsheets and systems.
- Verify and correct data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Organize and manage electronic and paper files.
- Perform regular data quality checks and clean up errors.
- Retrieve and process data from reports as needed.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements and skills
- Experience in data entry or similar role.
- Fast and accurate typing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and data entry software.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills.
- High school degree or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)
