Pay Range: $15.74-$65 (based on location, education, certifications, and interpreter specialties)

• Provide effective video relay service,  video remote interpreting and on-site interpreting for consumers

• Ability to independently travel.  Where driving is required, access to a vehicle, valid driver's license and required insurance.

• Must pass the company's interpreting skills assessment
• Must attend and successfully complete a 40 hour new hire training
• Fluent ASL and spoken English language skills
  
• Able to provide accurate interpretation
• Good understanding of Deaf culture
• Thorough knowledge of and adherence to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct
• Three to five years experience in interpreting (preferred but not required)
• As applicable, state licensure of state-required credentials
• You must be 18 years or older to apply

Work Environment:

• Must be able to work no less than of 12 hours per week. Flex 12-Split Interpreters will schedule no less than 6 hours per week during the pre-scheduling then schedule any delta between the prescheduled 6 hours and the required 12 hours per week no later than two week prior to any given work week.
• Must be able to accept new or alternative interpreting assignments for a scheduled shift based on customer demand

Employees may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time:

• Sitting, standing, walking (95-100%)
• Keyboarding (40-60%)
• Viewing computer monitor, videophone and cell phone (40-60%)
• Lifting computers and other equipment
• Position may require some travel
