Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE :
Are you ready to take on a dynamic role that keeps our nursery thriving? As a Nursery Specialist focused on R&M duties, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our grounds, machines, buildings, and systems are in top-notch condition. We're a seedling container production nursery in Atmore, Alabama. We offer a safe work environment and the opportunity to make a positive impact on the world through reforestation and restoration efforts. Our team is dedicated to producing high-quality seedlings, and we work together to achieve our goals.
This is a physically demanding, fast-paced role that requires a self-starter with a strong work ethic and mechanical knowledge. You'll lead the charge in developing and executing comprehensive maintenance plans, assisting in managing maintenance budgets and projects, and tracking repair histories. Your expertise will be crucial in troubleshooting and performing mechanical work, while also contributing on a team assisting in all phases of crop development and working with contractors. With your strong analytical skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively, you'll play a key role in maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
