ABOUT THE ROLE:

Lead the Future of Reforestation in the Pacific Northwest

PRT USA seeks a consultative Senior Customer Support Representative (CSR) to cultivate and manage our vital Pacific Northwest territory. This isn't just a sales job; it's an opportunity to leverage your deep forestry knowledge and network to shape the future of our forests. If you're a respected forester with a passion for sustainable practices and a knack for building genuine relationships, we want to hear from you. As our Senior CSR in the Pacific Northwest, you will be a trusted advisor to our clients, guiding them on the best seedling solutions for their unique needs. You'll be the face of PRT in the region, building and nurturing relationships with key players in the forestry industry, from small landowners to large timber companies. This role requires a consultative approach, where your expertise and passion for forestry will shine through, not high-pressure sales tactics.

What You'll Do:

  • Be a Forestry Expert: Provide expert consultation to clients on seedling selection, silvicultural practices, and reforestation strategies. Your in-depth knowledge of PNW forestry and your established network will be invaluable.
  • Cultivate Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients. Become a trusted advisor and partner in their reforestation efforts.
  • Drive Sustainable Growth: Identify opportunities for growth within the PNW market and develop strategies to expand PRT's presence while adhering to our commitment to sustainability.
  • Represent PRT: Represent PRT at industry events, conferences, and meetings, showcasing our commitment to quality, innovation, and environmental stewardship. Comfort with public speaking is essential.
  • Collaborate Internally: Work closely with PRT's production and customer support teams to ensure seamless execution of client orders and projects.
  • Share Your Knowledge: Contribute to market intelligence gathering and analysis, helping PRT stay ahead of industry trends and optimize our strategic positioning.

Qualifications

WHO YOU ARE: “A Branch Above the Rest”

You are a highly motivated and experienced forestry professional with a deep understanding of the Pacific Northwest's unique ecosystems and industry. You thrive in consultative roles, acting as a trusted advisor on reforestation. Your background includes a minimum of 10 years of experience in forestry and a strong network within the PNW forestry community. You are comfortable with extensive travel and eager to contribute to a collaborative team.

What You'll Bring:

  • Deep Forestry Roots: A Bachelor's degree in Forestry or a related field is preferred, along with 10 years of experience in a forestry-related role.
  • PNW Expertise: Extensive knowledge of PNW forestry practices, regulations, and industry players. Existing relationships with key stakeholders are a significant advantage.
  • Consultative Approach: A genuine desire to help clients achieve their reforestation goals, with a focus on building trust and providing expert guidance. We are not looking for a "salesperson," but a trusted advisor.
  • Communication Prowess: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. You'll be comfortable speaking to diverse audiences, from small landowners to large industry groups.
  • Passion for Sustainability: A deep commitment to sustainable forestry practices and a desire to contribute to the health and vitality of our forests.
  • Willingness to Travel: Extensive travel within the PNW is required.
