What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist position at PRT Staffing?
JOB DUTIES:
- Sets up, programs and runs new jobs on CNC mills and / or lathes.
- Responsible for quality, quantity and safety.
- Able to maintain equipment/machines.
- May act as a liaison between customer/purchasing/engineering and outside groups.
- Is familiar with quality standards and adheres to quality procedures and work instructions.
- Operates several pieces of equipment.
- May train others within the group.
- Knowledgeable and/or experienced in CAD/CAM.
- Keeps accurate records.
- Keeps work area clean.
- Will perform other duties as directed.
