What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Selector/Reach Operator-2nd Shift position at PRT Staffing?
As an Order Selector/Equipment Operator, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our client's food distribution and logistics facility. Utilizing your expertise, you will be responsible for the safe and effective handling of specialized equipment to ensure the timely movement and storage of food products.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate RAYMOND reach trucks and other specialized equipment to load, unload, and transport food products within the distribution center
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and equipment usage
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to maintain optimal performance
Qualifications
- MUST have 2 year of experience operating RAYMOND reach trucks - THIS IS NOT A FORKLIFT POSITION
- Candidates must have exp with - I-Warehouse Machines
- MUST HAVE 2 year of warehouse experience - Candidates will be wearing a headset while on the reach truck to tell them where they need to go to pick a product - this is done by a computer-generated ticket - the computer only speaks English
- Steel Toes Boots required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
Working Conditions
This is a second-shift position, with hours typically from 3:30 PM to Finish PM, Monday-Friday.
The work environment is a food and dry goods distribution facility, and the role may involve some physical demands, such as standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Compensation
$20 per hour
